The last and most significant of these cataracts, at Kisangani, is known as Wagenia. Located at the southern end of the Republic of the Congo's border with the Congo River. The Grand Inga Dam, potentially the world's largest by generating capacity, is also proposed to be built on the falls. The volume of the river diverted is approximately 30% of the average discharge.
